Citizant 2008 Awards Banquet

715

Yay! It’s that time of year again, the Citizant Awards Banquet. This year was even better, I’ve been at Citizant for over a year now, made more friends, and have accomplished a lot within the company.

This year the event was held at the River Creek Country Club, which is only around 5 miles away from our condo. I rented an executive sedan so we could roll in style, and also so that we wouldn’t have to be driving back after a few cocktails :)

The food was awesome, including a giant crabcake that I thought was chicken :P Christy was the official ’spokeswoman’ for the first round of door prizes, of which we won on both our tickets. No cheating involved!

My boss got a very much deserved excellence award for kicking ass last year, and for pulling long hours during the office move.

The girls ( Jane and Christy ) danced with Alba ( our company President ) and had a great time. Matt and I perused the bar downstairs for a bit, and the sedan came to get us around 10:30. After that, we hung out and partied at the condo until 2am, and all passed out from exhaustion. Definitely a fun night, I already am looking forward to the banquet in 2009 :) Even just in one year, it was pretty obvious how far and how fast the company had grown. I saw a bunch of new faces that work at our customer sites around the east coast, and some old friends from NHLS ( Doug King being one, and Kamal ) from last year.

Now, gotta get caught up on my emails and pending items from last week. I’ll try to give everyone an update more regularly now.
