This morning, I joked on Fox and Friends that San Francisco acts like a truth serum on Barack Obama. It’s where he trashed western Pennsylvanians as Bible-thumping racists clinging to their guns and religion. And it’s where he told the SF Chronicle that he plans to bankrupt coal companies and engineer huge energy price shocks to save the planet.

Less than a few hours later, Palin was already pumping the bullshit out in her speech:

“There must be something about San Francisco,” she said. “I heard on Fox News today, it’s like a truth serum where when he’s there, he seems to be more candid.”

And what was actually said:

So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can; it’s just that it will bankrupt them because they’re going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that’s being emitted.

So you get taxed for building new plants in order to fund renewable energy? That’s TERRIBLE!! OMG

And what was actually said:

“You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing’s replaced them,” Obama said. “And they fell through the Clinton Administration, and the Bush Administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. And it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”

I guess it’s hard for a self-hating Asian like Malkin to understand true anti-immigrant behavior, since she started hating her family from day one for being immigrants.

When you’ve been told for 25 years that “Oh yeah we’ll help you.. yeah, sure we will” and nothing happens, you immediately start blaming Mexicans or Asians or anybody-but-you for the hardship. After a while, this sentiment really sinks in. Coupled with the passive behaviors that religion encourages ( unless it is in reference to bombing other religions ), I can see why he said what he said. Not that it’s 100% correct or in good spirit, but it’s well away from “dissing”. Which brings me to another point, if you read into Malkin’s words, you’ll notice plenty of racist undertones. Her counter to that claim is that she is a person of color, so it’s ok, and then will mockingly use her new cute term “RAAAAACIST”.

Seems that Malkin is only interested in playing the race card when it allows her to use racial epithets. Any other time and she would sell her soul to the devil to be white.
