No, I can't imagine if a GOP admin did that, but I can imagine an administration that supported, nay, demanded(!) torture on its captives, even when there were multiple sources saying it wouldn't work, and that it was illegal and immoral. I agree, that the photo-op was incredibly stupid and insensitive to NYers (or any skyscraper-dwellers anywhere), but it's not nearly as bad as some of the shit the Bush group did. ahahahahahah.
