It’s been a while since Leah Culver called me out on my own blog and pointed out that she was more internet famous than I, and I haven’t forgotten about it.

Not one to pass up a good opportunity to whore more results on Google, I present the end of the Adam Kinder v/s Leah Culver popularity contest: Your move beotch!*

*Not a scientific poll of any kind. Results may be inflated due to the awesome English footballer that stole my name.

Pownce, the failed twitter clone, was purchased yesterday by Six Apart. The side effect of this merger is that I’ve lost some respect for SA, especially considered they just bought a shitty useless service made by a shitty developer whose only worthwhile attribute is that she’s an OMG cute girl, and that they made this purchase on the heels of a layoff.

Granted acquisitions take time, and I’m sure this was in the works for months before the layoff. Then again, they probably only had to wave a few hundred dollar bills in Leah Culver’s face before she sold out her community.

So, pownce is gone, finally, after being one of the biggest piles of Web 2.0 shit yet, and Leah moves on to fuck up TypePad et al. I can’t wait for her blog post of “hehehe OMG how do i create perl lol?”

After my 10/120 rule post became massively popular and drove tens of thousands of people to Kinderism ( and also almost killed our poor server ), I decided to revisit Leah Culver’s snarky “Get Over it”:

After analyzing the Kinderism logs, I’ve found out that this delightful comment WAS actually left by Miss Culver herself.

Granted, I drug her through the mud on the post, but that’s who I am and we all don’t expect anything else. In response to my criticism of her website and programming abilities, Leah took the high road and pointed out that I’m not as internet-famous as she is, and then suggested I get over it.

But, it’s true. I don’t have a vagina and a CS degree to flaunt, and it keeps me awake at night. If only there was someway to get a bunch of idiot Diggers to latch on to my every move, failure or not… hmm… I could possibly cater to the gay IT crowd? Maybe I should run a contest to etch corporate logos all over my bimmer?

It really hurts my soul that I’m not internet famous, but at least I’m not an egotistical bitch.
